Instead of building their own platform or presenting a vision to officers, they’ve taken the lazy route—copying directly from the SPFPA’s blog posts and messaging.
This isn’t the first time UFLEOS has mirrored our work, and it likely won’t be the last. But imitation doesn’t equal leadership. It only highlights the fact that when it comes to organizing, advocating, and speaking on behalf of officers, UFLEOS continues to fall short. Rather than investing time and energy into creating meaningful, independent messaging, they choose to ride on SPFPA’s coattails.
The truth is clear: when it comes to strong representation, experience, and leadership in the Security Police industry, SPFPA leads. Others follow—sometimes word for word.
