Another UD Petition Filed against the UFLEOS

The Diversified Officers working at the NASA Facility in our Nation’s Capital are set to vote to stop paying union dues to Maritas’ Union, the UFLEOS/NUSPO. Officers from this site have contacted SPFPA in the past for help to leave their troubled union.  Those Officers have now taken the necessary steps to file a Deauthorization Petition with the NLRB to hold an election to remove the UFLEOS/Maritas union security clause.
They join the Paragon Officers working in Los Angeles, California, and the Central California Region to include the counties of Fresno, Madera, Kern, Kings, Inyo, Monterey, San Benito, Tulare, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, Santa Cruz, and Santa Clara. The Paragon New York City Officers and others are trying to leave this crumbling troubled organization.
This will be a loss of revenue from over 1,000 members. Government documents reveal Martias only represents 1700 members and pays himself over $170.000 per year.
